This is the second single released off my forthcoming album, “Life’s Moments.”
“Lost in a Hotel Room” features Brandon Coleman on guitars and keyboards, Jeff Mellott on drums, Matt Wiles on bass, and Liz Wooley on backing vocals.
“I love hotels. Everything about them. At one point in my life, I spent lots of time in hotels. For a moment in time, I wanted to live in a hotel. In fact, once during a breakup, I did live in a hotel, for like a month.
‘Lost in a Hotel Room’ chronicles four very personal moments. “Unforgettable moments. Passionate moments.
I’ve often said, that if every person could have their own, ‘lost in a hotel room’ moment just once, with someone they really care for, the world would be a happier and more understanding place.”
lyrics
Verse
I chased you out to California
We got lost, in the hotels of Santa Monica
The place of all the palm trees, and endless sunshine, convertibles & wine
And Chicago, it was our city for so long
Footprints on a wet window, tangled in the sheets you know
I never wanted to go home, cause home was where I was
Chorus
You changed my life | you’ll never know just how much
With the crazy nights | with all the things that you’ve done
And all these memories | you will find, the memories I’ll never forget
Verse
We found ourselves in New York
The city of bright lights, and endless nights, the place we crossed the line
It was such a perfect day, as you opened up your heart, and we
Made love in the Bryant Park hotel
And then there’s Detroit and your red dress
All the things you did made my head spin around
I will never forget you, as long as I live
As long as you’re right here in my mind
Chorus
You changed my life | you’ll never know just how much
With the crazy nights | with all the things that you’ve done
And all these memories | you will find, the memories I’ll never forget
